Our Faith

At Faith Memorial, we believe ...

Grace

is what saves us.

God loves the people of the world, even though we are sinful, often live our lives in ways we should not, and rebel against Him.  Even though we do not deserve His love, God the Father sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16

Scripture

is where we ultimate go to find God's Word and Truth.

The Bible is without error and comes direct from the mouth of God. In the Bible, God reveals His Law and His Gospel of love home and salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness."- 2 Timothy 3:16

Faith

connects us to God and the salvation won for us in Christ.

By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through him. "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God." - Ephesians 2:8

Christ

alone brings us back into a restored and eternal relationship with God.

Jesus said,  "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." - John 14:6
